11 months today. wee!

in order to get this kid to eat babyfood, she has to be distracted with something in her hands. i start every meal with a bunch of spoons, granola bars, , lids, maybe some cheerios or perhaps a set of car keys within reach....then, i proceed to feed these items into her little hands while simultaneously feeding food into her little beak. she holds on to whatever i give her for a couple seconds before she throws said item overboard and, dependent upon whether or not the item thrown is edible, watches for the dog to scamper over and eat said item. it's quite a scene, with the blind dog alternately dodging and lunging for items thrown from the high chair. the item of the day today was plastic spoons, two at a time; one for each hand....duh.
please note. she straightaway flees the scene, headed in the general direction of the dog kibble.
