elizabeth still has a bottle of milk every morning when she wakes up. i microwave the bottle for 30 seconds. as soon as the bottle hits the microwave she begins her 30 seconds of whining and crying and other general carryings on. it's annoying. so today i was like, maybe she doesn't even care if the darned thing is warmed anymore. ahem. she cares. i was carrying her, she was carrying the bottle....until she felt the chill of the milk. so she tossed it overboard. and exhibit A is the result. man, was i fuming.

exhibit B looks innocent enough, right? wrong. the little one has discovered the joy that comes with climbing up on chairs. this pic was taken approximately 13 seconds prior to elizabeth falling off said chair backwards, flat onto her back. it was a pretty loud thump. i thought she was handling it pretty well until an especially vigorous cry led to some projectile vomiting.
and all this before 8am. good thing she balances the messes with heavy doses of adorableness.
Now this is a really bad morning! My condolences to all. Hopefully it can only get better.

That's a pretty cool picture of the milk though :) I just switched the girls to cold milk a few weeks ago. I woke up and said, "no more", and made them switch cold turkey. Neither threw their milk, but I have gotten quite a few complaints of "too cold". It has been great though because they have been drinking their milk more slowly, so it has allowed for more room for solids. The girls still wake up for a sippy of milk at night, and giving them the cold milk has reduced their intake by about 3/4!
