is ANYTHING in this pic in focus? i don't think so.
i'm lying here in bed because it's 3:12pm. and let's just cut the bull. this is what i do during naptime. it's my special photo-editing, online-christmas-shopping, blog-stalking, nodding-off-for-a-few-minutes ME-time. and every once in awhile i get a whiff of vomit, because the kiddo is sick and i can only shower her and me and change our clothes and wash hands and face so many times in one day before i realize the futility of the exercise and just let the whole vomit, diarrhea, vomit, vomit, diarrhea thing run it's course. you get used to the smell after awhile. good news is i called the doc and apparently this virus that's going around only lasts 7-10 DAYS.
yeah.
it's really not so bad when actual liquid isn't spraying from the tyke's body. she's sort of just a more subdued version of herself....just wants to sit on my lap with her blankie (which also has "the odor") and read books and watch movies, which is fine by me.
anyhoo, hopefully i won't get the sickness. i can't remember the last time i've had any sort of stomach/poop flu. do adults even get that anymore?? at least i have the wits to carry a bowl and run to the toilet.
7-10 days! Ugh! Hopefully she will recover much quicker.
ReplyDeleteFRIEND! That stinks (no pun intended) however that is my new favorite picture! Call me if you are in need of anything.
ReplyDeleteThat virus makes me never want to leave my house! I know a lot of people that have the pukes right now, and I will never be forgiven for the time we took the pukes to my family in Utah for christmas (they were so unappreciative...)... I'm so scared.
ReplyDeleteoh, and i hope she gets better soon :)
ReplyDeleteI heard it was a 24 hour thing. So here's hoping she got the same thing everyone else in the ward got and it'll be gone by morning.
ReplyDeleteMaybe one piece of glitter?
ReplyDeleteHi Sara! So, I think I found your blog through facebook or something... but I've known Greg since back in the BYU days, and now live in SoCal with my hubby and 3 kids. But I seriously want to meet you!! I just love your blog, your honesty, your photography! I am a wannabe photographer and when I read your blog, I laugh out loud at your f/stop & focus comments because it happens to me constantly! my sweet littles are super close together (I do not recommend it), 3 in 2 and a half years... yeah it even sounds ridiculous. But right now they are 4, 2.5, and 1.5 so basically 3 toddlers. My husband and I run some side businesses so I have zero time to do photography if only for my blog and my kids, but I so love it. I just wanted to say hi, tell Greg hi and I just love your sweet little girl. She is darling!! ~Kristy, www.californiadunnings.blogspot.com
