i've been having kinda bad luck with books lately, which means i've read a hundred pages of about 10 different works of prose and then quit. i think i'm being punished for NOT quitting twilight at page 100. oh, but there's the good news! i breezed through this one and thoroughly enjoyed it. i even shed a tear or two. now we'll see if i can find another book worthy of finishing.
Have you read Time Traveler's Wife? so good!
ReplyDeletewait wait wait...YOU read twilight??
ReplyDeleteOk Time Traveler's Wife is out there but very interesting...ever read anything by Jodi Picoult, I highly recommend My Sister's Keeper, Plain Truth, 19 Minutes, Vanishing Act or Picture Perfect...I have also fallen back in love with the classics Jane Eyre, Pride & Prejudice, Mansfield Park, Northanger Abbey, etc...and oh do I love them...
ReplyDeleteEmily: ok wait i dont get it...u did or didnt read twilight? bcuz if u did u must know that it is the best book in the whole entire world...and i read this book about a week ago and it called blue bloods...it might be below your reading level but i really liked it and im making all my friends read it...
ReplyDeletehey mrs. doud! cute blog and i love how low-key you are about being with child. i hope you are feeling well.
ReplyDeletei agree. i couldn't get past 75 on twilight but read this book twice. The Peacegiver by Ferrel is another good one. Love Walked In... I took up sewing when I was pregnant. I made bean bags, drapes, pillows, quilts... it is amazing what a nester you become. I'm excited for you two!
i read every worthless page of twilight. i'm so ashamed.
ReplyDeleteha ha; don't be ashamed.
ReplyDeleteI was at the convention by default in sf. i should have brought you along.
Definitely read the Kite Runner author's second book, title of which I don't immediately remember. And I read Twilight and all its addictive little sequels to and from Australia in January. So sue me. Read 'Testimony' by Anita Shreve. You will finish it.
