nope

when you pour the soda into the cup with the ice in it, do you hate it when the ice cubes get frozen into one giant iceberg? just tell me. i spend a good portion of my life trying to figure out whether or not i'm "normal".

  1. First...who wants to be "normal"? "Normal" is boring, you are nowhere near boring...Second...I'm with you...I would like things to do as I like not as they wish...if you wanted a chunk of ice you would have gotten a chunk of ice...I realized that coming from me none of this probably makes you feel any better about yourself! ;0) ~Jackie

  2. i skip the ice.

tell me...is THIS "normal"? When a soft drink is poured out of the can it seems like it comes out way bigger right? Nope. I said that out loud once and everyone mocked me. Then, I made them prove it to me. Same amount of liquid.

  3. um yes. ice needs to be in individual pieces. preferably the little pellet kind.

  5. You are normal. I am a soda junkie and I have been known to drive many miles for the pellet ice and styrofoam cups. Btw - if you do ever get the hankering for pellet ice - I found a gas station in HB with it!

  6. every day i pour myself a soda, and today i realized that i always frenetically shake the cup of ice while pouring to make SURE the cubes don't stick together. and i was like....what a weirdo.

thanks for the reassurance yalls. and linz, we all know there's way more in the glass than there ever was in the can. duh.

  7. Emily: that does drive me crazy because it sometimes comes out and hits you in the face. and normal is just a setting in a washing machine :)
