she's feeling better, but the snot remains.  please note the fact that she's a mouth-breather now.

for the record, i'm feeling very awkward with this new camera.  the depth of field is smaller, the focus on almost ALL my pics is soft, and the exposure compensation is different and i haven't nailed it down quite yet.  DO observe however, that there is not an ounce of grain in any of these, and i did no noise reduction on them.  woohoo!  some more pics from today:
